For a company in the chemistry industry a filling device was created to fill small packages with a very viscous product.
The device is used in order to fill a very viscous glue in doypacks (i.e. packages of approximately 3 – 5 kg). The filling machine is controlled by a Siemens PLC.
The Atlas weighing frame is used as a basis and is designed by Robbe Industries SA. Moreover, a special dose unit is provided to dose the product accurately and quickly by weight. By means of an automatic demister, one can avoid that the product will be leaking when filling the packages.
